In 1995, The AAA 5-Diamond, Mobil 5-Star Jefferson Hotel celebrated its 100th Anniversary.
The public areas reflect turn off the century splendor. Towering faux marble columns, magnificent stained glass, a marble Grand Staircase and a fine Carrara marble statue of Thomas Jefferson reflect yester year's attention to design detail.
The Rotunda features magnificent, handsomely adorned pillars, refurbished to their original splendor, which support a 70 foot ceiling embellished with multi-colored and gold leaf design and a striking skylight.
Deluxe rooms and suites at the Richmond Jefferson Hotel were newly refurbished in 1993. They are furnished in two color schemes: English Tudor and Hunter Green. These rooms have traditional feel. They all have color TVs with remote, full cable, three telephones, desks and mini-bars.
